Malik Dodds

Chairman

Malik Dodds is a Chattanooga native, high school graduate of the Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences (Class of 2011) and graduated from UTC in 2016 with a B.S. degree in Accounting and a Bloomberg Certification in Market Concepts. Malik graduated from The Stetson-Hatcher School of Business & Economics at Mercer University in May 2022 with honors. Malik has an MBA with a specialization in Finance from Mercer.

While working in the financial industry, Malik has held numerous banking, financial services, analyst and Information Technology positions. Malik is also a Certified Scrum Master which is a certification from Scrum Alliance that designates him as a Scrum Master - a role which is tasked with the overall governance of product development in information technology.

Helping others has always been one of his passions as he has worked for Nonprofits including Erlanger Hospital and The Red Cross in Chattanooga, TN as a volunteer.

Clomeisha Robinson Tumlin

Board Member

Ms. Tumlin was the 2022-2023 and 2021-2022 recipient of the First Horizon Business Chair of Excellence. She is the President-Elect for faculty council at Chattanooga State Community College. She volunteers on several Chattanooga State committees, serves as a TN Promise mentor and Building Outstanding Student Scholars mentor, SkillsUSA advisor, and within the community serves as treasurer of the East Brainerd Council for the Chamber of Commerce. She was named Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year in in 2017.

Ms. Tumlin is an Associate Professor and Department Head in the Business Division at the Chattanooga State Community College and currently serves on the Student Academic Appeal Committee, various staff/faculty position committees, Faculty Handbook Adhoc committee, Building Outstanding Scholars (BOSS) Mentor, TN Achieves Mentor, Online Learning Champion, Faculty Advisor for SkillsUSA, Honor’s Curriculum Committee, and Faculty Sponsor for Student Voice Initiatives. 

Donel Cochran

Board Member

Donel Cochran has been employed by McKee Foods Corporation for 38 years and is the Corporate and Transportation HR Manager.  He has served on several school boards including:  St. Nicholas School Board and Ooltewah High School Community Board.  

He was a student-athlete that was a part of three consecutive championship teams and three consecutive NCAA appearances.  His love of the sport has lead to several volunteer basketball coach positions.
