Girls Academy
Born and raised in Chattanooga, TN she has fought her way through childhood sexual violence that lead to years of domestic violence. She is now the founder of The Heard a nonprofit that educates, empowers and advocates for marginalized women and girls affected by trauma. Since 2018, her program has assisted with the escape of ever 19 women and provided programming for over 60 teen girls and college age students in and around Tennessee through the creation of "So You Think You can Date?" a year round mentoring program. She hosts a survivor's brunch yearly entitled "Bravery Brunch" that honors local survivors of domestic violence. Surviving in important, but LIVING FOR REAL AFTER IS THE KEY.
